The film was co-produced by Mahadevan Ganesh and Saravanan for Siva Brothers and Kaushalya Wickramasinghe for Dark Room Creations. Supporting parts were played by Vidya Pradeep, Akshata Sonawane, and Pooja Mondal, while the film’s leads were played by Ajmal Ameer, Pallavi Subhash, and Hemal Ranasinghe.The marketing push leading up to the film’s June 2022 release date kicked up in May 2022. The movie premiered on July 8, 2022. Co-producer Kaushalya Wickramasinghe said that the film’s Tamil version will be distributed by the National Film Corporation and displayed in 50 cinemas throughout the island beginning on July 29, 2022.Sri Lankan director Mohamad Shaffraz and co-producers Sisira Hewahenna and Chandrika Godakanda for Nimana Films brought us the adult drama film Sudu Hansi sinhalamovies in 2010.
