Nelum Valley Top

The valley is a heavily wooded area between 4,000 and 7,500 feet in height, with 5,200-meter peaks on either side. The length of the Neelum Valley is 144 kilometers. The Gilgit-Baltistan districts of Diamer and Astore to the north and Skardu to the north-east, Muzaffarabad to the south-west, and the Mansehra District in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province to the west form the district’s borders. The beautiful Neelum Valley, which is around 240 kilometers in length, can be found to the north and northeast of Muzaffarabad. It runs in a parallel direction to the Kaghan Valley and is separated from it by snow-capped mountains, some of which are higher than 4000 meters.
